POT UP CUTTINGS

-

IF YOU acquired young plants such as heliotropes, pelargoniums (pictured right), salvias and fuchsias this winter, they’ll now be in rapid growth. Re-pot any if roots have filled the containers. It won’t be safe to move them outdoors for at least a month. For healthy, well-sized specimens, it’s essential to keep them in growth. After re-potting, pinching back some shoots encourages branching. You can use the removed shoots as cuttings.
