City showdown called off

THE board of troubled logistics firm DX Group has avoided a City showdown after its largest shareholder called off a meeting to unseat it.

Gatemore Capital, which won the right to call an emergency general meeting last month, has shelved its plans in order to scrutinise DX Group’s proposed takeover of the distribution arm of John Menzies.
