WHAT THEY SAID...

-

For the fans of both clubs, I want nothing more than a cracking match. Back your team, sure, but remember it’s only a game — albeit an important one. That’s all I want my players to focus on and I’m sure Neil Lennon will be saying the same to his lads. Nobody should get distracted by some of the things that have been said leading up to the game. I don’t think anything that went on last week will affect the players in the slightest. The fans might see it differently, but I would rather everyone concentrated on making it all about football . I’m not playing in the game and neither is Lenny. There is no sense of grievance among the players. It’s got nothing to do with them. There will be passion and tension in the crowd but the way my players conduct themselves, that won’t be an issue for us. Will we shake hands before the game? Have you asked Jim that? You’ll have to wait and see. Have I spoken to Jim Duffy? Have you asked him? Does Jim actually do Press conferences? No? So he gets to avoid all the awkward questions. Why does he not do a Press conference? He’s writing a column in a paper and it’s probably ghostwritten. So it’s probably sugar-coated the way Jim would like it to be.
