A pip off the old block... Gwynnie’s girl Apple turns 13
THEY say the apple does not fall far from the tree. And Apple Martin, the 13-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, is a startling case in point.
When actress Miss Paltrow, 44, posted an image of a girl to her Instagram account on Sunday evening, the picture could easily have been of her younger self.
But she added in the caption: ‘Happy 13th birthday you gorgeous human. You light up every room, my heart, the world. You. Are. Everything. I love you, schnapps.’
The Oscar winner posted a small image of an apple next to the picture – leaving no doubt who was the subject of the shot.
Photographs of Apple and her 11year-old brother Moses are rare as Miss Paltrow and Martin, lead singer of Coldplay, are fiercely protective of their children’s privacy.
The couple were married for a decade before announcing in 2014 that they were ‘consciously uncoupling’. But they remain present in their children’s lives and continue to go on family holidays together.
