RISQUE . . . BUT SO ELEGANT

-

IT’S every woman’s dream — a fairytale gown that nonetheless hugs every curve, overtly sexy yet undeniably elegant.

Eleanor’s floor-length, silversequinned dress is by Indian designer Naeem Khan. Its plunging neckline and daring backless style (below right) reveal her enviable figure, while the delicate embroidery and elegant short train add a hint of distinction to the overall look.

The long sleeves partially cover her hands, elongating the line of her arms to make her look even more impossibly slender.

The mesh material looks almost black, but is actually a sophisticated sea-green, embellished with a floral pattern made of sequins, mother-of-pearl buttons and intricate embroidery.

No wonder Khan, who specialises in such elaborate styles, is a firm favourite with former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama and the Duchess of Cambridge — who wore a blue and white dress by the designer on her trip to India.

‘I love Naeem Khan’s designs,’ says Nisha Grewal, Eleanor’s stylist. ‘This dress is from a new collection that could be in production soon.’

The fashion house says the dress will cost a minimum of £16,000.
