Meet Gaga’s really quite sensible mum!
SARTORIAL prowess runs in the family with pop star Lady Gaga, 31, and her mother Cynthia ‘Cindy’ Germanotta, 63, turning heads when they met for lunch at the weekend. Germanotta dressed like a woman much younger than her years with striking red glasses, tracksuit trousers, white Nike trainers and an over-sized white blazer. Meanwhile the avant-garde pop star sported a kooky cowboy-style look combining a yellow top with pleated bell sleeves, brown and yellow bell-bottom trousers tied with straps, shades and a broad-brimmed hat.
Gaga, who in 2010 famously wore a dress made of raw beef, says: ‘I’m so fascinated by my mother as a style icon. She carries whatever she wears like a queen.’
