Dead On Campus, 3.15pm, Ch5

WE MIGHT not have sororities in the UK, but there have been enough U.S. movies featuring them to get the gist – they are hotbeds of back-stabbing, jealousy and, occasionally, murder. Katelyn Tarver plays the swot ‘welcomed’ into the Phi Delta Pi sisterhood and regretting it deeply.

Hannibal, 11.05pm, Ch5

RIDLEY SCOTT’S encounter with Hannibal Lecter is not as creepy or effective as Jonathan Demme’s The Silence Of The Lambs, which preceded this film. Anthony Hopkins (pictured) returns on lipsmacking form as everyone’s favourite cannibal, while Julianne Moore takes over as Clarice Starling.
