Aussie feared dead ‘just missed’ two other attacks

-

A YOUNG Australian woman still missing after the London Bridge attack had avoided two other terrorist atrocities this year.

Sara Zelenak, pictured, from Brisbane, has not been seen since she was separated from friends on Saturday night.

Her distraught family have launched an appeal to find the ‘smart and sensible’ 21-year-old.

And now her mother, Julie Wallace, has revealed her daughter was almost caught up in the Westminster Bridge rampage and had a ticket for the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester but didn’t go.

She described the moment she found out her daughter was missing after the attack to Brisbane radio station 97.3FM yesterday as ‘horror, complete horror’ before listing the near misses.

She said: ‘The one with the policeman being stabbed about three months ago, she was there the day before in the exact spot. The one with Ariana Grande’s concert, she was going to go to the concert. Everything she’s just missed.’

On March 22, policeman Keith Palmer was stabbed to death by British-born jihadi Khalid Masood outside Parliament in London.

Four others also died after the terrorist mowed them down on Westminster Bridge.

Two months later, 22 people died when suicide bomber Salman Abedi, 22, detonated a device packed with nails, nuts and bolts at the Ariana Grande concert.
