Give the Millwall man a medal!

FOR all the evil that radical Islam has wrought in recent weeks, there are those who stand out amid the terror as beacons of humanity. My favourite is the 47-year-old Millwall fan, Roy Larner (pictured), who fought off the three armed London Bridge maniacs with nothing but his bare hands and a lot of lip. As they cried ‘This is for Allah’ and ‘Islam, Islam, Islam’, he retaliated with ‘F*** you, I’m Millwall,’ and proceeded to hold them off while fellow diners in the Black & Blue restaurant ran to safety. He sustained horrific injuries, but saved lives. Is it too much to hope that next time the Honours list rolls around, it’s people like Larner who get the medals — instead of some trumped-up No 10 toady?
