FORMER BBC EXECUTIVE WITH £10M MANSION
EX-BBC boss Peter Fincham bought a £6million property in the borough in May 2015. The former £250,000-a-year controller of BBC1, pictured, was forced to resign in 2007 after a documentary falsely suggested the Queen had ‘stormed out’ of a photoshoot when asked to remove her crown.
But Mr Fincham, who later became the director of ITV television, received a £500,000 pay-off after he quit.
The 61-year-old Cambridge graduate now lives in a four-storey £10million mansion elsewhere in the borough. Mr Fincham says the empty house is in the process of being transferred to a new owner.
