Law student learned to make a pipe bomb
KHOBAIB Hussain became the leader of the ‘Musketeers’ after working out how to make a pipe bomb while on an eight-month gas installation course at South and City College, Birmingham in 2015.
Born in Birmingham, he lived with his Pakistani family for most of his life in a terraced house in Sparkhill, next door to Naweed Ali.
The son of a taxi driver, Hussain was considered bright and won a place to study law at Wolverhampton University in 2010, but instead he went to Pakistan for jihad training. He was jailed for three years and four months and was freed on July 13, 2013, only to be recalled for breaching his licence conditions. On his release he berated a Muslim student in the street for wearing a poppy just before Remembrance Sunday.
He had never had a girlfriend and before his arrest asked Rahman for advice about marrying a woman he had met on Facebook.
