Blair: Public is starting to support me over Iraq
TONY Blair claims Britain is finally starting to come around to his point of view about the Iraq war.
He insisted that after seeing the cost of non-intervention in Syria, the public was thinking again about his decision to support the US-led invasion.
It is widely considered to be Britain’s biggest foreign policy disaster in modern times but Mr Blair told the website Politico.com that people are ‘coming to a more measured analysis’.
However, polls show the opposite. In 2003, 5 per cent of people supported the invasion but that fell to 27 per cent in 2013.
