Financier Ben Goldsmith has rallied to the defence of embattled Shane Warne, after the australian spinner came to blows with a young lady in a Mayfair nightclub.

The former fiancé of Liz Hurley was subsequently cleared by the police. ‘Shane Warne is one of the kindest, most decent people i know,’ says Ben. ‘it’s a safe bet that this porn star has stitched him up to get a headline.’
