HE is happily married with two children, while she has a toddler with a Slovenian footballer.

But the chemistry between East-Enders actor Davood Ghadami and dancer Nadiya Bychkova caused an awkward moment on Saturday’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Judge Bruno Tonioli could hardly contain himself after their passionate quickstep, and left them blushing as he said: ‘That was a race straight to the bedroom... bit rough at times but you got to it.’

The comment drew gasps from the audience, particularly after Ghadami had admitted his wife Isobel had been ‘nervous’ ahead of his racy dance in week one.

Viewers were also taken aback by the routine, which included clothes being ripped off and finished with the pair in an intimate embrace on top of a table. One wrote: ‘Well that was a steamy racy quickstep!’, while another said: ‘Thought Davood was going to completely strip off.’

Saturday marked the first time Paralympic athlete Jonnie Peacock had shown his prosthetic leg on the dancefloor, as he took part in a fast-paced jive on a specially crafted blade.

The 24-year-old, the first disabled contestant on the show, wowed with his cowboy-themed routine and was hailed as an inspiration on social media.

Saturday’s live show drew a 9.3million audience for BBC1, dwarfing the 4.6million who watched The X Factor on ITV.

In last night’s episode, Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu became the first celebrity to be sent home.
