DELIGHTFUL U.S. drama about the custody battle over a gifted child between her uncle (Chris Evans) and grandmothe­r (a brilliant Lindsay Duncan).

NEW FANTASY SERIES Inhumans, 9pm, Sky One

THIS new comic-book adaptation follows a squabbling ‘royal family’ of superpower­ed characters. Inhumans had a rocky ride to U.S. TV — it started as a film — and you can feel that in the shoddy production, but there are fun bits, including a huge teleportin­g dog, and Game Of Thrones’s Iwan Rheon as one of the royals.

FUN & GAMES Taskmaster, 9pm, Dave

IT’S the semi-final of this highly amusing series, and Bob Mortimer and Sally Phillips (pictured) are both looking like strong contenders for the final. Tonight’s fabulous clash features a Winter Olympics-style task that includes the immortal line: ‘You may only use items in the caravan to secure your coconuts.’

NEW COMEDY THRILLER Bounty Hunters, 10pm, Sky One

JACK WHITEHALL stars as the well-spoken Barnaby in Sky’s new comedy thriller, an academic sort who is forced into an awkward alliance with a tough New York bounty hunter (Rosie Perez, pictured with Whitehall). This comes about after Barnaby makes a serious hash of running his dad’s antiques dealership.

FOLK REUNITED Long Lost Family Australia, 10pm, Really

MORE from this new series of the poignant and joyful Aussie version of the family reunion show, hosted by Chrissie Swan and Anh Do. Twenty-eight-year-old Shane has never known his birth mother and now, having children of his own, has decided to try to find her.

FILM CHILLER A Dark Song, 11.15pm, Film4

A SUPERNATUR­AL drama that, while deeply atmospheri­c, is far removed from the usual trappings of the horror genre. Catherine Walker and Steve Oram are a grieving mother and an occultist, alone in a house performing an exhausting ritual.
