WARREN BEATTY is all over this sloppy romantic drama — he wrote and directed it and plays movie mogul Howard Hughes. Alden Ehrenreich and Lily Collins also star, as forbidden lovers.

WHEN Swansea held Spurs to a 0-0 draw at Wembley in September, defender Federico Fernandez was the star of the show. With points proving hard to come by can the Swans frustrate Spurs tonight?

FREEVIEW MOVIE Journey 2: The Mysterious Island, 8pm, 5Star

ENJOYABLE Jules Verne-inspired adventure, this follow-up to 2008’s Journey To The Center Of The Earth finds intrepid explorers taking in the wonders of a magical island in the Pacific. Dwayne Johnson leads the cast, with Luis Guzman and Michael Caine.

MADCAP FUN Harry Hill’s Tea-Time, 8.30pm, Sky One

HARRY HILL’S nutty mix of spoof cookery and chat show returns for a new series — and his first guest, Trevor McDonald, does his best to take it all in his stride. The sight of McDonald reading a weird menu in the style of the News At Ten is the tip of the bizarre iceberg.

NEW U.S. COMEDY Superstore, 8.30pm, ITV2

NEW sitcom set inside a budget megastore, with Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera (pictured below centre) as one of its more wellbalanc­ed employees, and Ben Feldman as a new addition who thinks he’s too good to work there. It’s fun and easy to watch on the surface, but it sometimes takes risks you might not expect . . .

MASTER CRIMINAL The Blacklist, 9pm, Sky One

RED (James Spader, pictured with Megan Boone) is rebuilding his life from the ground up at the start of the new, fifth season, and he’s loving every minute of it. The ex-top criminal is stealing cars to settle debts and working as a bail enforcer to ‘pay the rent’ — and the result is the cheeriest episode of The Blacklist ever recorded. Will it stay that way? Hmm . . .

EXPLORING ENGLAND Penelope Keith’s Coastal Villages, 9pm, More4

THE actress is in East Anglia for the final part of her delightful jaunt around the coast. She takes a ride in a tank, visits a village inspired by Peter Pan and turns detective to hunt for traces of an ancient settlement — before ending her journey at Walberswic­k village fete.

SUPERMARKE­T SITCOM Trollied, 10pm, Sky One

THE second supermarke­t comedy to begin a new run tonight (see Superstore, left) opens its seventh series with new developmen­ts at Valco — they’ve changed the colour of the uniforms. Gavin is beside himself with excitement, and then, the boss turns up with yet more news. It becomes too much for him to handle . . .
