Shops vs internet

-

INTERNET shopping is not better than the High Street (Letters). I have bought clothes online, but often they don’t fit, the colour is wrong or the material shoddy. I ordered an anorak online to be collected from a local shop. When I tried it on, it swamped me, but the shop wouldn’t take it back.

My only options were to pay £5 to post it back to the manufacturer or drive five miles to a different shop. What a waste of time and effort. ELEANOR WILLIAMS, Shepperton, Middlesex.

USE or lose High Street shops because when they are gone you will be left at the mercy of internet giants. This is not even taking into account job losses and a cut in business rates. A. HADALL, Manchester.
