ABERDEEN BID FOR DEVLIN IS REJECTED BY HAMILTON

HAMILTON have turned down a bid from Aberdeen for defender Mikey Devlin. The Pittodrie club submitted an offer despite the 24-year-old being sidelined with a cruciate-ligament injury since the start of the season. Accies immediately kicked it into touch — and are adamant they don’t want to cash in on the player. Aberdeen have also rejected two bids from Hull City for defender Scott McKenna this month. Hull boss Nigel Adkins is an admirer of the Scotland Under-21 skipper but has been told he is not for sale at this juncture.
