Laszlo calls Fraser out over Hearts

- EUAN McARTHUR

DUNDEE UNITED boss Csaba Laszlo has urged midfielder Scott Fraser to come clean over speculation he is bound for Hearts in the summer. Fraser is rumoured to have signed a pre-contract with Craig Levein’s side as he recovers from a fractured foot. The 22-year-old Dundonian is out of contract at Tannadice in the summer and has no shortage of admirers. Laszlo, whose team face a trip to Alloa in the Scottish Cup fourth round on Saturday, is keen to keep Fraser but has asked him for clarity over his future. ‘I haven’t spoken to Scott because he is out injured but, if this is true, then I am a little bit sad,’ said Laszlo of the Tynecastle rumour. ‘This is because we are staying fully behind Scott and believe he can come back before the end of the season to help us. ‘If it’s true, I’d like him to say: “Okay, gaffer, I want to move on”. I want honesty.’
