Royal red faces as wife brands charity pal Knowles ‘cruel bully’
CLAIMS by Jessica Rose Moor, the estranged wife of TV presenter Nick Knowles, that he subjected her to ‘intimidation, emotional cruelty, physical abuse’ are awkward for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry.
They enlisted the support of the DIY SOS host, who denies his wife’s allegations, for their mental health campaign Heads Together, but will now be wary of the association.
Knowles presented a BBC1 documentary last year, Mind Over Marathon, which the Princes and Kate took
part in. The show followed the progress of ten people with mental illnesses as they trained to run the London Marathon on behalf of Heads Together.
‘Certainly, his knighthood will be put on hold,’ remarks one royal watcher. A Kensington Palace spokesman declines to comment.
