HOME OF JUSTICE
Inside The Old Bailey, 8pm, Ch5
FOR centuries, the Old Bailey in the City of London has been the most famous court in the land, where the fates of the most notorious and nefarious criminals have been decided. This documentary explores the fascinating history of the court itself — the current building was only completed in 1907, on the site of the Newgate gaol — as well as looking at some of the most shocking cases to have been heard there, from Doctor Crippen to the Yorkshire Ripper.
