WHEREVER you are in Scotland, you’re never far from a great programme of events. Here are just a few of the fun things on this month and next. Get set for spring at the Scottish Snowdrop Festival, running until March 11. Gardens and woodland across the country – including Cambo Estate, Fife – will be celebrating these dainty little flowers, with many gardens open especially for the festival. Elsewhere, the snowsports and music festival Groove Cairngorm is in Aviemore on February 23 and 24. Sports fans won’t want to miss seeing world-class athletes such as Greg Rutherford, left, competing at the Glasgow Grand Prix at the Emirates Arena on February 25, while the World Junior Curling Championships are in Aberdeen from March 3-11.
