RUGBY UNION Bath v Northampton Saints, 7pm, BT Sport 1

NYC STORY The Bold Type, Amazon Prime

COLOURFUL, lightly saucy new U.S. drama inspired by the life of Cosmopolitan editor-in-chief Joanna Coles and built around the fortunes of three friends who work at a frothy but also serious women’s magazine. ACTION COMEDY Baywatch, 8pm, Sky Premiere

SCANDI-CRIME Rebecka Martinsson: Arctic Murders, 9pm, More4

PLENTY of TV sleuths are human train wrecks, but few are as believable, or as rounded, as Rebecka Martinsson. She’s on a fairly even keel in tonight’s new episode of this exellent Swedish drama, in which the death of a diver opens the path to a darker mystery.

SETTLERS’ SAGA Jamestown, 9pm, Sky One

A DEATH in the colony upends Jocelyn’s (Naomi Battrick, pictured) life as Sky’s period drama returns for a new series. This formidable woman is far from defenceless, though (‘Sir, you may cut me down, but not so low that my nails cannot reach your eyes’), and that should provide plenty of drama in a second run that will also delve into slavery.

U.S. INVESTIGATORS NCIS, 9pm, Fox

PROFILER Jack Sloane (Maria Bello) roams between members of the team this week, explaining what she does and trying to make friends. Or is she doing something else? Abby has her suspicions, but for now, the death of another unlucky petty officer — this one at a golf course — must take precedence.
