hOW we shall miss Anna Soubry when she makes good her promise to leave the Tory Party (again) when senior Brexit colleagues finally implement the will of the 17.4 million majority Leave voters.

The logical, reasoned argument, the calm, quiet delivery, the moderate tone, the restrained gestures and language – truly, the still, small voice of calm that makes her the great parliamentarian she is.

For the rest of us, it will be tough without her, but we will just have to manage as best we can. do not delay your departure on our account, Ms Soubry. DAVID FOX, Northampton.
