The Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! Steve Jobs’ girl keeps her iPhone close

- Mail Foreign Service

SHE wouldn’t be the first teenager to refuse to be parted from her smartphone – but Eve Jobs has more reason than most to feel attached.

The 19-year-old, who is the youngest daughter of the late Apple cofounder Steve Jobs, kept her iPhone very close – and very visible – at an equestrian festival this weekend.

Not content with hiding it away in a pocket, Miss Jobs tucked the device into her belt as she walked around the event.

The Stanford University student is one of five siblings who – together with mother Laurene Powell Jobs – inherited a £14billion fortune when Steve Jobs died in 2011 after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

At Florida’s Winter Equestrian Festival on Saturday Miss Jobs looked stylish in a white shirt, jodhpurs and black boots. She is an accomplished equestrian who has competed internationally for years, winning first and second place in two show jumping classes at last year’s event.

In 2015, her mother bought an £11million ranch in Florida, with a barn for up to 20 horses and a show jumping training rink.
