Posing for Playboy at 67, Jane says: I feel sexier than when I was young
‘Comfortable in my own skin’
MORE than four decades have passed since she first posed for Playboy – but at 67, Jane Seymour is still every bit as comfortable in front of the camera.
In fact, the former Bond girl says she feels sexier now than she did in her 20s.
The grandmother-of-three, who set hearts racing as Solitaire in Live and Let Die, posed for the men’s magazine in 197 and 1987.
This week, announcing her third Playboy shoot, she shared a snap of herself in pink lingerie and an oversized fluffy coat on Instagram. She told the magazine she was unsure of her looks in her younger days – despite attracting millions of fans in the 197 Bond film. ‘I feel much sexier now than I ever did when I was younger,’ she said. ‘Then, I thought, “Oh gosh, I’m supposed to be sexy. What is that?”
‘There’s an enormous freedom in having lived as long as I have. Like my father used to say, I’m comfortable in my own skin.’
She added: ‘Usually you’re invisible by this age! I’m not trying to prove anything to anyone.’
The mother-of-four also revealed she was sexually harassed by a producer in 1972 when he asked her to come to his house to discuss a role. Miss Seymour said he put his hand on her leg ‘in the wrong place’ before she left in tears by taxi. She added: ‘He put me in a car and said, “If anyone knows you ever came here, if you ever tell anyone, ever, I’ll guarantee you never work again anywhere on the planet”.’
