Body found in hunt for missing teen

POLICE searching for a missing teenager who vanished in sub-zero temperatures confirmed they had found a body yesterday.

Silas Humphreys, 16, disappeared on Sunday afternoon. He was last seen in the Balblair area of the Black Isle, where he lived.

A Police Scotland spokesman said last night: ‘There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal in due course, as is standard procedure.

‘His family are aware and have requested privacy. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.’
