After no weddings and five children, Hugh’s finally getting married at 57
HE’S had a string of famous girlfriends who’ve failed to tie him down.
But, at the age of 57, Hugh Grant is finally tying the knot – marrying his Swedish girlfriend Anna Eberstein.
The father of five’s plans to marry the TV producer, 39, were revealed after wedding banns were posted at Kensington and Chelsea register office.
The official notice was on display at Chelsea Old Town Hall, close to the couple’s £10million home.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: ‘This is a day none of Hugh’s friends ever thought would come. He will soon be a pensioner and has finally become a family man.’
Miss Eberstein had the couple’s third child in March – they also have son John, five, and a daughter aged two. Grant – star of Four Weddings And A Funeral and Notting Hill – also has six-year-old Tabitha and Felix, five, born three months after John, from his relationship with Tinglan Hong.
The actor, whose ex-girlfriends include Liz Hurley and Jemima Khan, is on TV as disgraced Liberal MP Jeremy Thorpe in A Very English Scandal, which began on BBC1 last night.
Grant previously called marriage ‘unromantic’, saying: ‘Do I think humans are meant to be in 40-yearlong faithful relationships? No, No, No.’ A representative for Grant did not respond to requests for comment.
