Unlucky in love (again)
£148m Lotto winner is dumped after his latest lover finds saucy emails to his ex
LOTTERY winner Adrian Bayford has been ditched by yet another lover after she discovered intimate messages he sent to an ex-girlfriend, it was claimed yesterday.
The former postman split up with his Scottish wife Gillian in 2013, a year after they won £148million.
Since the split with Gillian, whom he married in her native Carnoustie, Angus, in 2004, Mr Bayford has dated several women, including stable girl Samantha Burbidge, who left him, taking £300,000 of thoroughbred horses with her.
Now his latest girlfriend lisa Kemp, 40, has also walked out after apparently finding emails to his ex, Marta Jarosz, a sausage factory worker.
A source told The Sun: ‘Things got heated when lisa found emails to Marta, a Polish girl Adrian dated four years ago. lisa wasn’t happy. They had an argument on holiday in South Wales. She packed all her stuff and left there and then.’
The heartbroken former waitress is said to have stormed off to Mr Bayford’s £6million mansion in linton, Cambridgeshire, clearing out her belongings the same day.
A friend of the multi-millionaire added: ‘Staff saw her go. He may have lost her for good.’
Mr Bayford, 47, declined to comment at his mansion yesterday. When a reporter explained who they were, he said: ‘yeah, goodbye.’
Miss Kemp was unavailable and her father, who lives in Haverhill, Suffolk, said: ‘I suggest you talk to Adrian. We have no comment.’
He agreed to take a phone number but said his daughter would ‘throw it away’.
Mr Bayford is said to have been ‘smitten’ with Miss Kemp, who worked at a local Frankie and Benny’s restaurant and helped him get over his split from Miss Burbidge, 16 years his junior.
They knew each other since before his life-changing win but began dating last year, and the couple were spotted Christmas shopping in Cambridge and enjoyed a romantic break in edinburgh.
A close friend of Miss Jarosz denied she had received any mes- sages – or even been in a relationship with Mr Bayford. They said: ‘It is true that Adrian did want to have a relationship with her at the time but it didn’t happen.
‘She did get a text from him years ago when he was in the Maldives with his first fiancee [Miss Burbidge] saying that he would rather be marrying her... his girlfriend may have found this old text.’
Miss Jarosz’s husband, Alex Martin, told The Sun: ‘I don’t know nothing about it mate. We’re as good as gold.’
