Woman ‘smuggled into Army base to make porn video’

- By Sam Walker

A POLICE probe has been launched amid claims Scottish soldiers smuggled a woman into an Army base and filmed a pornographic video.

Officers were called in after footage reportedly emerged involving four Royal Scots Dragoon Guards at Leuchars Station in Fife.

The video allegedly shows two of the men having sex with the woman, while another watches and the fourth holds the camera.

It is thought the men smuggled the woman into the base shortly before the clip, which was shared via a social messaging app, was shot.

An investigation was initially launched by Military Police after the footage ended up in the hands of senior commanders.

The incident was then passed to Police Scotland, which is now looking into the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: ‘We are aware of information that has been received relating to a video, which was reportedly made at an MOD premises in Fife. With the co-operation of the Military Police, inquiries into this matter are continuing.

‘However, at this time, no report of a crime has been received by Police Scotland, nor has any criminal activity been identified.’

The woman involved in the incident is believed to be a prostitute who was paid £200 to participate in the act, according to the Daily Record.

According to the paper, the men had been drinking before smuggling the woman into the base.

The men have reportedly denied that the woman was paid to take part. An Army spokesman said a military investigation would be held once Police Scotland had dealt with the case.

He said: ‘We are aware of allegations involving soldiers from Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. This is being investigated by Police Scotland and all inquiries should be passed to them. It would be inappropriate for us to comment further.

‘Any breach of the Army’s values and standards is taken very seriously and action, up to and including dismissal may be taken.’

We told last year how Leuchars will become the new base for the Army in Scotland as part of a £1.7billion investment north of the Border.

The plans, announced by Defence Secretary Sir Michael Fallon in February 2017, include £1.3billion for upgrades to HM Naval Base Clyde’s waterfront, engineering support, accommodation and security ready for the arrival of the Dreadnought class of submarines in Scotland from the early 2030s.

Leuchars will be expanded to become the main Army hub, while investment will also be made in a versatile Army Adaptive Force Brigade.

Scotland currently has 14,000 military regulars and reserve crew and 3,930 civilian staff.
