A MARRIED City worker threw an intoxicated 18-year-old over his shoulders and carried her to a dark alleyway to rape her.

Sanjay Naker, 28, pounced on the teenager after she was thrown out of a nightclub in London Bridge for drinking so much champagne and vodka she was unable to stand.

The PriceWaterhouseCoopers consultant slung his semi-conscious victim over his back, before carrying her off.

The City worker, who has a wife of two years, was seen on CCTV loitering around a side entrance of the club in the early hours of the morning before selecting his victim when he spotted she was alone and too intoxicated to call for help.

He carried the teenager for several minutes until she toppled from his back and banged her head on the ground. Unable to walk, she tried desperately to claw her way along a wall to get away from him.

But Naker dragged her on, pulling her arms violently.

He then threw her on the ground in a filthy alleyway and stripped her from the waist down before subjecting her to a sickening 30 minute attack.

Naker was only stopped when security staff working nearby went to investigate, having seen suspicious activity on CCTV at 4.45am. They found the halfnaked woman lying unconscious with Naker standing over her zipping up his trousers.

As police and paramedics were called to the scene, Naker took a taxi to his home in Wood Green, North London, where he lives with his wife and mother. He later told detectives the woman had been ‘begging’ him for sex and asked for a piggyback as her feet hurt. But in the following days, Naker searched online for the definition of rape.

Yesterday he was jailed for eight years after a jury at Inner London Crown Court convicted him of three counts of rape, attempted rape, and sexual assault. Judge Freya NewThe bery told him: ‘You have a respectable life and had a good future ahead of you.

‘If you formed a view that the woman wanted to have sex with you, you were very much mistaken. It was quite clear that you decided that you wanted to have sex with her and ... you saw an opportunity.

‘It was a mixture of your own desire and arrogance.’

The judge said of the victim: ‘She is still a teenager, coming to terms with what happened to her and was particularly vulnerable in her state.

‘She has been left anxious and afraid, reclusive and scared and really repulsed by an idea of any intimate relationships.’ college student spent the evening of March 11 drinking at the Number 1 club.

But she was ejected when a bouncer saw how drunk she was. She was accompanied by a friend, but when he left to fetch help Naker pounced.

Prosecuting, Neena Crinnion said: ‘He managed to manoeuvre her on to his back, into a piggyback position, and he is off... CCTV shows she appears to be slumped over his back, not really maintaining any grip.

‘Even in her drunken state she managed to push him off, fend him off, and start to claw her way along the wall.

‘But Mr Naker gets hold of her and drags her along the walkway. When passers-by come along, he leaves her alone but as soon as they are out of view he goes back to get her.’

The victim sobbed as she told jurors: ‘I did not remember having sexual intercourse with anyone that night. I do not go clubbing very often. I did not want to have sex.’

Detective Constable Aidan Kersley said: ‘Naker brazenly gave security guards his name, confident that the victim’s intoxication would protect him. However, we were able to prove she had been raped.’
