A new Guy for love-split Victoria?

FORMER Olympic cyclist Victoria Pendleton made her first public appearance on Wednesday following her announcement that her five-year marriage to sports scientist Scott Gardner is over.

The 37-year-old attended Manolo Blahnik’s garden party in Burlington Arcade without her wedding ring.

Speaking about her divorce, she tells me: ‘Going out is a good way to get my mind off things.’ Eyebrows were raised when she was spotted getting close to fashion snapper Alistair Guy, left — the second time in a week they have been at a party together. ‘We’re just friends,’ he insists.
