AN EVENING devoted to the Wakefield warbler kicks off at 7pm with a double bill of her Bafta-winning travelogue, Cruising. At 9pm, there’s the first of a new, second series of her all-singing, all-dancing entertainment extravaganza, which sees her joined by Gwen Dickey, lead singer of Rose Royce — whose classic singles include Wishing On A Star and Car Wash — and Mr Musical himself, John Partridge (pictured with Jane and Gwen). And then, don’t change channel just yet — at 10pm, there’s another chance to see Jane McDonald: My Life Story, which does exactly what it says on the tin.
