‘Britain? They used to call it England...’
HE says he has ‘great respect’ for Britain but Mr Trump still struggles with our nation’s name.
In his speech he assumed his supporters didn’t know what ‘UK’ stood for but then got a little confused as he tried to explain. ‘I have great respect for the UK. United Kingdom,’ he said. ‘Great respect. People call it Britain. They call it Great Britain. They used to call it England, different parts. But the UK – great respect.’
