Royal mineral water cured my rosacea (so is THAT why the Queen looks so radiant?)

- By Sam Blanchard

IT has long been a Royal favourite, with the two longest-reigning monarchs both enjoying a tipple.

Now the health benefits of water that flows from a spring on the edge of the Balmoral estate are being more widely praised, with one woman crediting it with curing a painful skin condition.

Kirsten Campbell, 33, from Insch, Aberdeenshire, suffered with rosacea before she began drinking Deeside Mineral Water instead of tap water every day.

The mother of two claims a litre of mineral water daily from a source near the Queen’s estate has left her skin clear.

Scientists have previously claimed the pure waters of the Pannanich Wells, in Aberdeenshire, could help hold back the ravages of time. Tests have shown the spring water mops up molecules linked to ageing, as well as a host of conditions.

Diagnosed with rosacea in 2012, Mrs Campbell’s skin was ‘red and fiery’ and she suffered painful bumps on her face.

The mother, who works as a financial controller, had to stop using her prescribed cream when she became pregnant with her second child. But she began drinking the water, costing 4 p per 00ml bottle, ‘religiously’ after reading about its remarkable abilities. She also uses sun cream.

Mrs Campbell said: ‘The redness has gone away and the bumps are down to little dots. My rosacea is hardly visible and people wouldn’t know I had it unless I told them.’

Martin Simpson, managing director of Deeside Mineral Water, said: ‘The water has a unique combination of natural properties which support living cells and encourage well-being.’
