BRETT ANDERSON

SUEdE frontman and Britpop poster boy Brett Anderson will put in an appearance at the Edinburgh International Book Festival this week to promote his autobiography Coal Black Mornings. As well as charting Anderson’s council house upbringing, it recounts the rise of Suede but the book ends just before the Britpop explosion and Anderson’s descent into drugs – which suggests a sequel may well be in the pipeline.
