Olympic rower Heather ties knot in glittering ceremony
OLYMPIC gold medallist Heather Stanning has tied the knot with Army officer Jonathan Howse at a private ceremony in Moray.
Among those who attended the wedding at Elgin Cathedral were Helen Glover – Stanning’s former rowing partner – her husband, TV naturalist Steve Backshall and their baby son Logan. Miss Stanning, who won golds in Rio and London, held a reception at her former school, Gordonstoun. Glover, the maid of honour at the ceremony on Saturday, said: ‘She was a ridiculously beautiful bride and the weekend was amazing.’
