THIS IS WHAT 72 LOOKS LIKE

- FLORENCE SCORDOULIS

Terrina STeel lives in Hove with husband ian. They have three adult children and seven grandchildren. She is a retired businesswoman.

SHAMPOO SECRET

I’VE always had long hair and believe it can still look youthful, as long as you colour it right. I find grey hair ageing, so get mine cut and tinted a light blonde once a month. It lifts my complexion. To keep it in good condition, I get an Olaplex conditioning treatment too (£30). I use Johnson’s Baby Shampoo (£1.59,

at home, as it’s gentle. boots.com)

NEW ANTI-WRINKLE JABS

ONCE a year, I get Botox to smooth my fr own lines (£219, brighton beautiful.

co.uk). My mother taught me the importance of looking after my skin — she had monthly facials all her life. This year, I tried Profhilo (£250), where hyaluronic acid is injected into the skin to stimulate collagen production and reduce wrinkles. I had two treatments and my friends have noticed a big difference.

MUST-HAVE MASSAGES

EVERY week, I have a Thai fusion massage at a local salon (£66 for one hour, little-jasmine.com). It’s an amazing combination of traditional, hot stone massage and oil Thai massage. I feel completely rejuvenated afterwards. Plus, it’s good for easing joint and muscle pain. This is useful, as I work out two to three times a week with a personal trainer doing weight training, Pilates and boxing. So it helps me to look after my body and avoid injury.

TRY A FACIAL SPRITZ

I NEVER wear night cream, as I find it too heavy. Instead, I spritz on Dermalogica Antioxidant Hydramist (£40, dermalogica.co.uk) before bed. It’s a refreshing toner spray, which helps to rehydrate and protect skin. I also apply it in the morning, before putting on my make-up, and top up during the day. It’s so cooling and feels wonderfully light.

JOIN THE CLUB

IT’S important to stay active and keep meeting new people. My husband and I rarely stay in! We’re members of our local bridge and Rotary clubs. I’ve always been sociable and see no reason to slow down now.
