Silent Witness star ‘too old to strip off on telly’

Silent Witness star emilia Fox, who stripped naked for a sex scene in the tV film, Consuming Passion, ten years ago, swears she’ll never go nude again.

‘At my age, i don’t think anyone wants to see me in state of undress on television. i’m much better fully clothed, from top to toe,’ Fox, 44, tells me at the launch of Ben Fogle’s book, Up: My life’s Journey to the top Of everest.

‘i’ve done parts which have required that in the past, but the older you get the more you can negotiate with where it’s necessary.

‘if i did it, at my ripe old age, it would be very foolish.’
