Evergreen Richard, 69, has a gottle of Gere!

IT is 36 years since he set pulses racing in An Officer And A Gentleman – and 28 years since he swept Julia Roberts off her feet in Pretty Woman.

But dashing Richard Gere, 69, seemed to have held back time as he sipped from a bottle of beer on the set of a new TV drama.

The US actor, right, whose third wife Alejandra Silva, 35, is expecting their first child, looked slick in a suit while filming BBC series MotherFatherSon in Seville, Spain. It is his first TV role in nearly 30 years.

Buddhist Gere plays a businessman whose son spirals out of control. He has called the series an ‘extraordinary project’. Gere and Miss Silva said they were expecting a baby last month. They posed with Buddhist leader the Dalai Lama who put his hand on Miss Silva’s bump to bless the child.
