Ramsay keeps card hopes alive
RICHIE RAMSAY shot a promising 69 at the weatheraffected Andalucia Masters yesterday as he bids to retain his European Tour card. The Scot currently sits 124th on the money list and needs to finish in the top 116 to secure full playing privileges for next season. Ramsay, who is three shots off the lead held by Ashley Chesters, said: ‘If I play to my capabilities, I can get into contention and think about winning — not just keeping my card.’ Sergio Garcia made an excellent start to his bid for a third straight victory with a three under par 68.
