GAMA Aviation tanked after warning its performance would not meet full-year expectations.

The aircraft company said that no individual division was significantly weaker but the combined effect of lacklustre trading would push profits down by £2.3m.

The business operates facilities for the Scottish Air Ambulance, and helps wealthy individuals with private jets organise their management and maintenance. Its shares dived 17.8pc, or 27p, to 125p.
