Fox urges County to ignore derby and focus on Falkirk
SCOTT FOX says Championship leaders Ross County have to block out all thoughts of Saturday’s Highland derby when they face bottom club Falkirk at Westfield tonight. The ex-Celtic and Partick Thistle goalkeeper knows the showdown in Inverness will already be preoccupying the thoughts of Staggies fans. But with table-toppers County leading Ayr United by a point, Fox stressed the importance of retaining a keen focus. He said: ‘The fans are obviously excited about the derby but we need to take care of Falkirk first. ‘This isn’t one we can take lightly. We need to look after ourselves and go about our business the way we have been.’ Elsewhere tonight, Ayr host Alloa, fifth-placed Inverness welcome dunfermline and Queen of the South, who sit in fourth position, face Morton at Palmerston.
