MISSING CASH Myanmarfocused social media app Mysquar, which is investigating accounting irregularities, has said £900,000 has gone missing from company funds.

The London-listed firm said it had been paid to third parties or former directors without being approved.

SMELTER DEAL Industrialist Sanjeev Gupta’s Liberty steel company has secured financing from banks to buy Europe’s largest aluminium smelter from Rio Tinto in a deal thought to be worth £384m.
