MISSING CASH Myanmarfoc­used social media app Mysquar, which is investigat­ing accounting irregulari­ties, has said £900,000 has gone missing from company funds.

The London-listed firm said it had been paid to third parties or former directors without being approved.

SMELTER DEAL Industrial­ist Sanjeev Gupta’s Liberty steel company has secured financing from banks to buy Europe’s largest aluminium smelter from Rio Tinto in a deal thought to be worth £384m.
