THIS extraordinary three-part drama would be dismissed as too far-fetched if it weren’t for the fact that it is all true. Set in London during the Forties and Sixties, it stars Ruth Wilson (pictured right) as her own grandmother, Alison, who is left devastated by the death of her beloved husband, Alec (Iain Glen), an author and a former spy. But when another woman comes knocking on her door, also claiming to be Alec’s wife, Alison has to confront the truth about the man she lived with for 20 years, but never really knew. But that’s just the start as, to her horror, Alison discovers more about Alec’s dark secrets . . .
