A METAL mining project on Anglesey in North Wales came one step closer to completion.
Anglesey Mining, which owns the copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver project, has signed a deal which will see contractor QME complete studies relating to the site’s development.
The firm will not pay QME in cash, but has given it the option to complete the development work after it finishes the studies. QME would then get a 30pc stake in the mine.
Shares in Anglesey Mining shot up 34pc, or 0.42p, to 1.68p.
