Robinson charged by the SFA following Ibrox aggro
Motherwell manager Stephen robinson is facing a possible touchline ban after being charged with misconduct by the SFA. the Northern Irishman has been hit with a notice of complaint after being sent to the stand in his team’s 7-1 hammering from rangers at Ibrox earlier this month. the 43-year-old fell foul of referee Craig thomson after an altercation with rangers assistant Gary McAllister and coach tom Culshaw. robinson was angered by thomson’s decision to send off Carl Mchugh in the 34th minute when the midfielder conceded a penalty for handball that allowed the home side to take a 3-1 lead. he was also upset by fourth official Craig Napier’s handling of the spat with the rangers bench. robinson has until Friday to respond to the charge of breaching Disciplinary rule 203, with a principal hearing set for December 20.
