Agutter’s nun takes the rap . . .

-

FONDLY remembered for waving her big red undies at a speeding train in The Railway Children, Jenny Agutter likes to surprise in real life, too.

Jenny, who plays the nun, Sister Julienne, in BBC1’s Call The Midwife, has revealed she has unusual taste in music for a 65year-old: she’s a big rap fan.

‘Not the violent stuff, obviously, but artists such as Eminem and the musical Hamilton,’ she says. ‘The use of language — especially modern vernacular — combined with the rhythms is so very clever. It just strikes a chord with me.’
