Some are crammed with shades you’ll never use, but this limited-edition Tom Ford Beauty Winter Soleil Eye and Cheek Palette (£98, tomford.co.uk) is packed with colours that will suit everyone. Slim enough to slip into a clutch, there are four eyeshadows in shades ranging from lavender to rose-gold, a supersoft pink champagne highlighter and a mauve blush that flatters all skin tones. Beautiful to look at and practical, too. What else would you expect from aesthete Tom Ford? Definitely one for the top of the Christmas list.
