DO the Brexit job

-

nOt another delay to clarity on Brexit. We, as a business, have been trying to keep a plate spinning for two years, yet still cannot answer customers about future trading.

my partner and i run a small business providing good jobs and security for our amazing workforce.

so why can’t UK politicians simply get on with a job that the subjects of the UK, have asked them to do via the referendum on Brexit?

regardless of individual idealisms, political beliefs and personal thoughts on Brexit, none of these should be on the agenda right now. simply taking us out of Europe, with the best deal possible, should be the only bullet points on there.

theresa may has done a sterling job for this country and its peoples. against huge odds and adversaries, this lady has managed to negotiate the best deal possible with Europe.

For this her reward is squabbling colleagues, politicians with personal objectives and self-interests, and barely disguised opportunists.

this is a disgrace. Combinations of downright ignorance through to what is tantamount to treasonous behaviour are all we have witnessed for the past two years.

as in business, you negotiate the best deal possible for all parties, in which there will always be compromise on both sides. shake hands on it, deal done.

mrs may has done this for us, there will always be opinions on the compromises made in any negotiations. however, these are taken into account and mitigated as best as possible when discussing terms.

Politicians, one and all, please hear our voice – and crack on with the jobs that you are paid to do.

Blackburn, Lancs. POstPOninG the vote on the Withdrawal agreement prolongs the agony of negotiations, thus increasing public anger at mrs may and the Conservative Party.

in order to dampen that anger right-thinking Conservative mPs must, without delay, send their noconfidence letters to the Chairman of the 1922 Committee.

the only logical way forward is a no-deal Brexit and trade under WtO rules until a Canada-style agreement can be reached. DEREK HunnIKIn, Chichester, West Sussex.
